You will help us to continuously improve our own products (e.g. www.ujam.com) as well as implementing projects for our customers in contract development.
Your Tasks
At UJAM, you support and shape…
You develop sophisticated react based applications.
As a member of a Scrum team you make sure that the development phases (conception/analysis, implementation, testing) run seamlessly.
As part of an international team, you work on demanding software applications and, over time, you are willing to take on additional tasks around the coordination and conception of projects.
These tasks can and should change constantly—and especially through your participation.
Your profile
Your Competence
You have in-depth knowledge and experience in web development and bring a wide range of expertise in the latest technologies. Coding is one of your greatest passions and you code fluently in several programming languages. You write well-abstracted, reusable code and are able to adapt existing technologies to a demanding, ever-changing environment without reinventing the wheel.
Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks: Ideally, you have already done a project with React.
An eye for graphics: You implement templates from the designer true to detail and even complex animations do not cause you any headaches.
Knowledge of common modern design patterns in UI development
Source code versioning and release management with Git
Very good written and spoken English skills
Ideally, you also have experience in as many of the following areas as possible:
Experience in music production
CI/CD
Kontakt or Gorilla scripting experience
Project planning with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
Agile software development, work in a Scrum team

Details on Remote Working Policy
UJAM is a distributed team with current team members in more than six countries and three continents. We have our head office in Bremen, Germany where we usually gather for certain meetings—or just for lunch. While we try to meet in person on a regular basis mandatory presence is extremely rare.
Accordingly, our remote policies are built around a maximum amount of trust and personal choice. During the pandemic, everybody is working from home and we plan to revisit our remote work policies even further as we optimize for a new, post-pandemic normal.
